We are a nonprofit 501(3) C that is a Christ-Centered Ministry assisting those in need to find hope and healing through the Gospel. Originally located on DeSiard Street in Monroe, The DeSiard Street Shelter relocated to 722 Adams Street in 2020 to expand available services. In 2021, The DeSiard Street Shelter was renamed The Renewal Center of Northeast Louisiana to reflect the growing number of services available to individuals facing homelessness. We offer meals, laundry services, showers, overnight shelter for men, and peer support resources to guide in acquiring copies of I.D. cards, Social Security cards, birth certificates, and more.
