Dad you became my hero. i still to this day look up to you. I miss you very much you were that father i always needed in my life and i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me and taught me. i dont care what the other ratings say i know the personal johnny robinson not the name and you gave us all a chance to become what ever we wanted to be. Life at JRYC was not bad. He is a cool guy and his son was the coolest. Mr Robinson love children and I appreciate all he help me with.

It's larynso I was there for two years and at first I thought it was a bad place but as I started settling in I found it was not that bad. I was a bad kid there because I thought I was going to be there till I was eight teen . It really isn't a bad place it's bad if go up there thinking you can do want believe me I learned that the hard way. i was there 2 1/2 years they always have a big feast during christmas time. Also they recieve money from sponsors all the time. I was a bible study leader there under the direction of the staff and administration.

my son has been there since december 1 of 2010. I have no problem with the group home I had met mr cujo and dion they r both cool people so far i never had any problems with the place I talk to my son every weekend I get a chance. the only thing that I dont like is the drive up there i live in morgan city i just wish that when they dont get day passes that u can get a 2hr visit instead of 1hr.

My child was there this past Christmas and he said that the place did NOTHING for the kids on Christmas! No church, no doing something special at the home, not even a one-dollar present to unwrap!! How can you say you care so much about children, yet treat them like this...heartbreaking.

My son is at this home. I feel the staff is hit-and-miss. The director definitely has a bit of a condescending,impatient attitude and makes me feel like he doesn't really listen. Some of the other staff is very nice on the phone, especially a Mr. Cujo. Some staff is rather abrupt and cold according to my son. Overall it is a decent place, but I feel their counselors need better up-to-date training and they could show more warmth to the children.
