CHRISTUS St. Joseph's Home, located in Monroe, La., is a nonprofit and religiously sponsored residential and health care center. It provides a variety of lifestyle options and a wide range of services that includes assisted living, nursing home care, nursing facility and respite services. The center is spread over an area of more than 10 acres and consists of courtyards, gazebos, lighted walkways and trails, chapel, beauty shop and picnic areas. Its assisted living center s services include medication monitoring, housekeeping, laundry, therapies and transportation. Its one- and two-bedroom suites include private bathrooms and kitchenettes with microwave ovens and refrigerators. CHRISTUS St. Joseph's Home also offers The Eden Alternative program that incorporates pets, plants, children and a sense of family into the residents daily lives.
