- Pediatric CarePlease read the following checklist carefully to be sure Excellent Pediatrics is the appropriate medical home for your children. We look forward to meeting you and forming a mutually rewarding relationship.
- Primary CareYour child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
- Ear InfectionsColds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.
- Family PracticeI have been taking my kids to Excellent Pediatrics for about 7 or 8 years. My kids had been going to another pediatrician office and to a Family Practice before going to Excellent Pediatrics. Out of the three doctors offices by far I'd choose Excellent Pediatrics, the name of the office says it all. Everyone is so respectful and caring. All the staff is awesome(Dr. Morales, Ms. Natasha, Nilah, JK, Ms. Marcia, everyone). The relationship that the staff members build with the patients and the parents is wonderful. I have also been to there office in Monroe. My kids love them so much that when ever we drive to the Monroe area my four year old daughter gets excited because she sees Dr. Morales' billboard.
- Emergency CareWe work hard to provide comprehensive medical care and serve as your medical home. To that end, we expect that you contact our office FIRST before seeking specialty care, or heading to another provider for urgent care. We want to be involved in either providing care in our office where appropriate, or referring you to the most appropriate specialist and helping to coordinate your care.
