BlueJeans Community Center, established in 1996, offers various community-based activities to the residents of Monroe City, Ind., and the surrounding areas. The programs offered include nondenominational religious events, community meetings, nontraditional classes and county extension organizations, a senior citizen center, a center for teen and youth activities, community library and park, as well as musical and theatrical events. The center has a library, museum, genealogy facility, computer and Internet lab and more than 100,000-square-feet meeting rooms and a Bible study group.
