I manage an apartment community and we use GE and Frigidaire appliances mostly. When they break down, Central Service is my first call. Granted, they need to order parts most of the time because they don't keep a large stock on hand. But when I call they are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and fix the broken appliance in a timely manner. We rely on Central Service consistently and they have been great for us!

Tech showed up and confirmed what I had told the office over the phone. Despite having make, model and problem a week before he came out, he did not have the necessary parts. The parts he ordered were more expensive than what I had found, even after I figure in shipping costs. Then waited another week to bring the part out. Then the part was not what he was expecting. Didn't have fittings/adapters to make it work. After another week, got appliance fixed. Three trip charges. The person answering the telephone is rude and cannot answer even the most basic questions. They don't even schedule a 4 hour window when tech is planning on arriving, it is just 'sometime on tuesday.'

Hit or miss with them. We have had great service and then not so great! None of them are really known for having consistenly GREAT service! Depends on the day and the tech! I will continue to use them.
GE oven not heating up. Tech came spent about 10 minutes declared the control board was bad. Central Service wanted 277.00 for the part plus install. I found the part at sears for about 100.00 less and installed myself. Well their tech made an uneducated guess and was wrong. I called GE had had a GE tech come. Took him about 10 minutes to figure out the stove was only getting 120 volts. Went down to the circuit breaker pulled on the wires and found a loose wire. So lets see I spent 72.78 for an unskilled tech from Central Services. They would have hosed me 277.00 for a part that was not needed plus another labor charge. I spent 185.00 for a part I didn't need I spent 170.00 on the GE service call (which is okay) because they sent a skilled tech. I guess you could say I'm not very happy with Central Service Company.
Great service, fair prices, friendly folks to work with. Watch out for the road construction, difficult to get into the parking lot.

Super service. They were upfront with costs and didn't hide any costs, such as their competitor did in town with a so-called no charge diagnostic, which basically doubled their call to complete service. Did a thorough job and was very nice and explained the situation.
