General Info
Dr. William Milo attended Florida State University, where he met his wife, and obtained a degree in Biochemistry. He worked as a biochemist for a Fort Lauderdale company, producing and improving testing meters and strips for diabetics. While having a sense of fulfillment developing diabetic products, he felt he could help more people obtain a better quality of life by becoming a Chiropractor. This is why he returned to school to obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in Florida. In his teenage years, he began receiving adjustments to assist with the occasional overtraining, injury prevention, and overall flexibility. It proved to be very effective during football and baseball season. Chiropractic was and is still an integral part of his healthcare team. Between his coaches and other health care providers he knew that he was hitting the field at his optimum. While practicing in Miami he had the opportunity to treat current and retired professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, tennis leagues, and many other sports. The experience and satisfaction gained through these encounters has shaped his practice. Although he treats many conditions in the office, he really enjoys working with athletes and has personally seen the effects of preventative care. After working as a Chiropractor in Miami Florida for some time, Dr. Milo and his wife decided to move to South Carolina to be closer to his wifes family in Moncks Corner. Dr. Milos wife, Erin, whom he met at FSU, is a music teacher in the Berkeley County School District. They have two daughters named Mia and Lilliana. His wife and both children receive the benefits of regular Chiropractic adjustments.Techniques:Toggle, Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Extremity, Activator, Sports Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Flexion Distraction
