They did my windows, I have a 1909 house, the wood was starting to rot, a guy came out and sold me on the Preservation windows, I got a great deal, and they were super nice.

Mult proj. w/M I Const. Poor clean up after roof. Deck done to fix very bad leak on lower level. Afterwards leak cont. 1yr of repeated returns to finally get the leak. The doors UGH! Encouraged to buy these doors because they were "the best out there" They ordered the wrong door hardware. End up taking because they couldn't get the style I ordered. They knew this before they ordered. The front door warped. Had him out so many times, he finally told us it was sealing OK we could just see daylight. What?? <2yrs the front door finish failed. They said it was the "south exposure". Under a porch - strong sun only approx 4 hrs per day. while waiting a long time for them to come, glass in door broke (Our fault). Asked for a new door I would pay for glass. sent only to be just refinished ignored it was warped. 4 mo later still no door. NEVER given a call w/update. 4 1/2 months they can't/won't accom my sched to reinstall. POOREST CUST SERV EVER. Haven't told them north doors finish failing...

We had windows put in back in 2001. The windows they sold us had a "Lifetime Warranty" on them but.....the manufacturer went out of business with no one else buying the business which made our warranty VOID. After finding this out, and having a problem with one of the windows we asked M&I to come and look at it to tell us if it was an installation problem, maintenance, or window itself. They put us off for two weeks and when I called back they said there would be a service charge and would be to our advantage to get someone local to look at it. So much for professional courtesy. Of course we know it was not M&I fault that the company of the window went out of busines but wouldn't you think that being a professional they would at least make a service call to see what problem we were having. This made the non Lifetime Warranty Void even harder to take. No good reviews for them!!!!!!!!
