In 1892, Charles W. Holt founded Holt Electric Company, which would grow and flourish and eventually be acquired by Revere Electric in 2002. Holt's first location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin operated as an electric motor repair shop that offered motor repair and industrial power wiring services. Today, Revere Electric Supply Company, representing the joint capabilities of both itself and Holt, supplies a variety of electrical products and services, including automated production products, such as industrial controls, sensor and safety equipment, programmable logic control, operator interfaces, software, AC and DC drives, motion controls and enclosures. Services available include engraving, equipment rental, lamp recycling, lightings, part kitting, product modifications and managed inventory. Revere Electric Supply Company maintains its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
