Arthritis Treatment
We are happy to now offer new medications for our arthritis patients. Librela is a monoclonal antibody injection developed for Canine Osteoarthritis, with Solensia being its feline counterpart. These new treatments help to control the pain of osteoarthritis by blocking pain receptors at the nerve level. Previously used for over 3 years in Europe, with little to no side effects, it has now been approved to use in the US. It is a simple injection for your pet once a month. Kidney Disease Treatment
Cold laser therapy is a state-of-the-art alternative therapy to assist with pain and healing. It can be used after surgeries to help increase blood flow to local areas, improving healing. For this same reason, it is also helpful for wound healing. Cold laser therapy can also be used for chronic pain, helping to increase blood flow to those areas. We have also seen great success in using this therapy for patients with kidney failure.
