North Davie Middle School is located in Mocksville, N.C., serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes English, algebra, history, biology, physical science, chemistry, physics and geometry. It has a parent-teacher association that offers guidance programs and fundraising activities to bring together parents, teachers and students. The school provides many sports activities, including cheerleading, football, soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, track, tennis and golf. Its media center houses more than 11,000 print and nonprint materials, such as books, videos, audiotapes, laserdiscs, CD ROM reference programs and computer software. The school additionally offers classes in physical education, painting, music and dance.
