Established in 1903, Leinkauf Elementary School is located in Mobile, Ala. It offers curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through five. The school is affiliated with the Mobile County School District and serves more than 500 students. It offers various subjects, including English, language arts, spelling and vocabulary, reading intervention and writing skills, mathematics intervention and reasoning, science, social studies, and health and physical education. The elementary school also offers fine arts, music, media arts, computer technology and special education classes. The school campus houses a variety of facilities, such as a library and media center, computer laboratory, music, fine arts rooms, cafeteria and a clinic. It also offers various community services that include foster grandparent program, Mobile area food bank and rolling readers. In addition, Leinkauf Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that monitors the academic progress of the students.
