Beautiful facilty, a lot of potential, but horrendous management. Lessons started late most of the time and were often taught by teenagers. They have had a few trainers pass through there that actually cared and made lessons fun, but they leave. High turn over rate. No lesson plans tailored to students. Also, I have personally seen mimi snap and yell at students or her "working students" over small issues. I would not pay the money to have my child take lessons here. Dig a little deeper and find a different barn.

Had a child that took lesson with Silverling Farm and I found it to be unorganized and too much drama.

I love Silver Lining Farm. Mrs. Mimi Peters has taught me so much, not only about riding and horses but also about how to treat other people, work ethic, respect, determination, and life in general. Mrs. Mimi really cares about all of her students and all of the horses at the barn. She is a wonderful person as well as an awesome instructor, and she also has some of the best horses. Silver Lining is truely a wonderful, special place, and I don't know where I would be without it and Mrs. Mimi.

I have two children that ride at Silver Lining Farm. One is a beginner and one is advanced. Both are thriving at this barn and love it. They learn so much not only about horses and riding but about people skills and respect for each other and animals. I would recommend riding at Mimi C Peters Riding School to anyone that wants their children to grow and learn and prepare for all aspects of life. Thank you Mimi!!

Poor service for the price. Over crowded classes. Instruction is not personal and safety is not properly monitored. Plenty of other options out there.. would not recommend this instructor.

mrs. mimi is a highly accomplished rider who has competed at very high dressage and eventing levels. She always has shown compassion and love for her reliable horses, never letting them get overworked. I have learned an incredible amount taking lessons with her and intend to untill i leave for college. I would highly reccoment this riding school. She is also one of the most respectful people i know, and simly asks for the same level of respect from the riders to her, and the horses

i agree with the first person the owner is not nice at all would not recommend to anyone.

highly recommend because mimi is nice and the other person did not know what he/she was talking about. mimi just wants you to be the best you can be the other person did not know what thay were talking about and i think thay are not being truful

The owner has no respect for the people OR the horses! She made my child cry by constinantly putting her down and telling her riding wasn't good enough. ALL the lessons are over crowed with not enough instructors and the lessons are not only cut short... but the instructors are NEVER on time for their lessons! The horses seemed very distressed and over worked! Many are VERY old and some are even Lame yet she continues to use them in lessons! This is a poorly managed farm and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
