IWR has been doing business since its establishment in 1990. Located in Semmes, Ala., it operates as an outpatient rehabilitation facility, serving Mobile and the surrounding area. The center offer therapy for individuals with degenerative joint disease, orthopedic/sports injuries, chronic pain, open wounds, burns, work-related injuries and neurological conditions or impairments. Some of the services provided comprise cervical/lumbar traction, scar mobilization, flexibility exercises, ultrasound, home exercise program, electrical stimulation and gait training. IWR functions as in-network providers for insurance companies, such as Blue Advantage, Aetna, First Health, Wausau, and more.
