Gratz Brown Elementary School, located in Moberly, Mo., is a public school that enrolls more than 500 students in grades three through five. Its curriculum covers core subjects areas, including English, science, mathematics and social science. An intervention specialist, with expertise in helping children with reading difficulties, addresses the needs of students who need extra help in academic areas. A guidance counselor assists students and families with social and emotional issues that impact learning, and also serves as a consultant to teachers and assists in activities that promote a positive learning environment in the school.
