CorTrust Bank was incorporated under the name of Livestock State Bank on October 31, 1930, after the failure of two other banks in the Artesian, S.D., community. The banks initial capitalization of $25,000 was raised from a group of area farmers and businessmen. CorTrust Bank offers services such as loans, personal checking, business checking, savings accounts and certificates of deposits. Its additional services include check cards, phone banking, trust services, business manager and wire transfers. CorTrust Bank has a location in Mitchell, S.D.
