Paxson Elementary School is a learning facility that serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes fine arts, math, physical education, science and social studies. The school also offers extracurricular activities in music, band and orchestra. Paxson Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association and library and media center. In addition, it provides food and guidance counseling services. The school offers the Title I program and maintains a family resource center. Paxson Elementary School is a part of Missoula County Public Schools, which enrolls students in elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools include C.S. Porter School, Washington Middle School and Big Sky High School.
