I had a good stay in this hotel. The beds are very comfortable. And the front desk staff is extremely helpfull. Especially Lee, he was ready to help anytime and was very quick at taking care of my requests. I am looking forward to seeing him again, and seeing the place after all the renovations are complete.
BEDBUGS!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. I would review this motel an absolute ZERO or less if possible. On our honeymoon, we unfortunately planned our 4 days in Missoula the same weekend as graduation so this was the option available. Checked in and the staff was decent... Internet hardly works, but she really didn't spend much time figuring that out. So we walked around, found some decent restaurants, had dinner and an early night in so we could get up early and start what we thought would be three days of hiking, shopping and just enjoying Missoula.
Woke up the next morning to what RUINED not only a day of our honeymoon, but the overall experience as well. As I am laying on the bed talking to my husband, a lovely little BEDBUG comes walking right over my blanket. After finding not only that one, but another one and putting it in a ziploc bag, we immediately packed up, called the front desk, told them we were checking out early.
This is where the decent staff part comes in. We go down to check out, and yes they re-imbursed us for the room. Nice enough... UNTIL they say to our faces "This specific room has always had BEDBUG problems in the past. It hasn't been used in a while, you are basically the first to stay there".
SO YOU KNOWINGLY PUT US IN A ROOM WITH BEDBUGS.
We then spent the rest of the day at the laundromat doing what we could to rid ourselves of any bedbug problem that could come of this, and in the process, also had to throw away anything un-washable. My purse, my dog's carrier, and the worst was I lost my white silk wedding rehearsal dress that I will never get back. Totally shrunk. (the staff offered an "I guess we can wash your stuff for you" only after I voiced how upset I was that we'd now spend our day in a laudromat. Why would we EVER let you wash our clothes, and how would the outcome be ANY different???
We have reached out to the owner Steven, to no avail. He blamed US for the ruin of our belongings, seeing as how "we washed them, rather than letting his staff do it". Again, how would the outcome have been ANY different, Steven? Treatment of bed bugs (that YOU gave us, therefore ruining our belongings) = hottest water, and hottest drying possible... it's not rocket science. Steven is now just ignoring our correspondence. He ruined memories, and I honestly just feel bad for the staff that has to work under someone with slumlord standards. He failed to do the right thing, to fix what his service caused.
Please, do yourself a favor and never risk a stay here. My husband and I are also in the hospitality business truly hope that nobody ever has to go through this experience.
BEDBUGS, BEDBUGS, BEDBUGS!
