Located in Mississippi State, Miss., the Department of Psychology provides a range of graduate and undergraduate programs and training for individuals to pursue a career in the field of psychology. Its bachelor s degree curriculum includes classes in physiological, social, general, abnormal, cognitive, applied, health and developmental psychology. The department also offers classes in the areas of environmental psychology, interpersonal relations, motivation, behavior modification, human sexual behavior, psychometrics and drug abuse. The Department of Psychology also administers a cognitive science certificate program that includes the study of mind and thought from a number of disciplines, such as philosophy, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and human factors. The department is operated by the Mississippi State University, which offers a range of doctoral degree programs.
