Guillermo Flores Elementary School is a learning center that provides educational classes to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers various academic courses, such as special education, speech, reading, music, fine arts, math, science, social studies, basic skills, language arts, foreign languages and physical education. The school has a library that houses audio books, magazines, movies and reference resources, as well as provides access to the Internet and databases. It offers various athletic activities, such as baseball, softball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, track, cross country, volleyball and wrestling. Guillermo Flores Elementary School is governed by the La Joya Independent School District.
