Michiana Direct Primary Care was created in 2016 when Dr. Jacob Tuttle set out to create a practice that delivers high-quality healthcare that is both more affordable and accessible to patients. Michiana Direct Primary Care is proud to be the first and currently only “Direct Primary Care” practice in the Michiana area. As a direct primary care practice, we do not accept commercial insurance payments which allows us to make decisions based on your personal needs, not what insurance companies dictate. We are also an independent, physician-owned (not hospital-owned) practice which means our only interest resides in providing you with the best patient care possible. The benefits of being a member of our practice go far beyond the savings. By shifting the focus away from the negative incentives created under the traditional "fee-for-service" model, our practice is able to offer the following advantages: ​ 1. Quality Service.
