You get what you pay for. If you want a cheap ECONOMY paintjob for an old vehicle, you will be limited to a handful of SOLID Colors to choose from (navy blue, cheese bus yellow, british racing green, pumpkin orange, maybe a couple others). Decent colors start with the Medium priced paintjob (Black, RED, White, etc.) Stock colors (VIN#) are PREMIUM priced. Also, keep in mind that NONE of these paintjobs include the slightest bit of Body Work (extra). I took an old Ford Tempo to them once (faded, pitting Brown) and had them do an Economy paintjob - made a POS look like a more respectable piece-of-junk. Still had pitting (merely spraying with a paintgun doesn't magically remove dents, duh), but looked Good. Also had them repaint a maroon Fiero YELLOW (with body work on the roof - an idiot had cut a hole for a CB Antenna). They also repainted the side mirrors Semi-Flat BLACK. That car looked as good as a yellow Corvette when they were done with it! Turned heads everywhere I drove it!

I was wonderfully surprised when Michiana Auto Painters took my faded and dented 10 yr old car and mad it look GREAT!! I will recommend Michiana auto painters too all my friends. Already I have had strangers tell me how nice my car looks.

to the man with the van. tell the truth, you took them a smashed van and when they told you how much it would cost to repair it right with new parts, you wanted to cut cost and use junkyard parts! the parts didn't fit right and you tried to blame it on them.if you weren't so cheap your van would be right. they did the best they could with what you gave them and they did what you asked. they did an EXCELLENT job on my truck when i took it to them! i will not take any of my cars anywhere else ever again. Michiana auto Painters does excelent work!

I had them do body work & paint on my van & the work was shoddy & very unprofessional. I went back twice to see if they would correct it but it was never fixed to my satisfaction. I tried to be civil & hope that they would make the corrections. But alas I must tell you to not go to this place if you need good body work & a paint job. I pray someday they will learn the Golden rule or they probably won't be in business for very much longer.
