Had two bad experiences. Which is a bummer, because I love American Eagle. It was because of customer service. One employee in particular, on separate visits, when asked for help, primarily for a fitting room, didn't even acknowledge me. She spoke on her headset and had someone else come help me. When all she was doing was re-folding clothing. When asked a question about the jeans or other items, she was very snotty and extremely annoyed. I think she mentioned at the first visit that she was a manager,can't be for sure on that. At any rate I didn't want to go back after the first visit, but I gave it another try and she was the same. She has blond punk style hair, older then the other, kind ladies, she has a child (bc she mentioned that), and short. Not sure why such an unfriendly person would work in retail if she can't handle being around people and/or helping customers.
