Precision Strip, a subsidiary of Reliance Steel and Aluminum, was founded in Minster, Ohio, in 1977. The company has grown to eight locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Alabama. Its facilities include more than 2 million square feet of building space housing 20 slitting lines, five cut-to-length lines, three oscillate slit lines, blanking line and perforating line. Each Precision plant is strategically located to provide just-in-time warehousing and delivery service to the automotive, appliance, industrial products and beverage can industries. Each facility is equipped to ship or receive material by truck or rail. Precision Strip s fleet of 100 tractor-trailers provides just-in-time delivery service to facilities within a 200-mile radius of its plants.
