A part of the Ward County Sheriff s Department, the Civil Process Division employs a sergeant, deputies and other court services officers who provide security to the courthouse. It performs a variety of duties related to the execution of court orders and judgments. The division assists landlords and tenants with disputes, conducts foreclosure sales for the county and collects delinquent personal property taxes. It also conducts the public sales of abandoned vehicles, executes eviction processes and handles emergency calls. The Ward County Sheriff s Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that works to provide safety and security and protect lives and property of residents. It conducts traffic crash and crime scene investigations and issues criminal warrants. The Civil Process Division is located in Minot, N.D.
