The Minnetonka Police Department employs a staff of more than 80 full-time, sworn officers, volunteers and civilians. It maintains a patrol division that provides proactive patrol, incident response and first response to medical emergencies. The department has a team of community service officers that provides domestic animal control services and assistance to the patrol division.
