Founded in 1947, American Fish & Seafood Company is a distributor of fine quality seafood products to retail and food service customers, major supermarket chains, specialty seafood retailers, fine restaurants, hotels, cruise ship lines and military commissaries. American Fish & Seafood offers a wide range of seafood products including steaks, fillets, shellfish, whole fish, condiments, smoked fish and cooked seafood. The company currently operates six large distribution/operation facilities to provide the logistic capabilities to deliver any kind of fresh or frozen seafood products. The National Marine Fisheries Service, a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDC), also helps in the administration of the seafood inspection program at American Fish & Seafood Company.
