As Seen On Esquire TV's Best Bars of America, James Ballentine VFW Post 246 is a Sports Bar and Restaurant located by Lake Street and South Lyndale in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. The Uptown VFW offers a 70-seat patio, live music bar, event venue, table restaurant seating, karaoke bar, comedy shows, DJs, dart leagues, private parties, free parking out back, a great American inspired food menu, Event rental space and so much more! Our menu offers hearty breakfasts, delicious brunch and lunch options, and filling dinner options for a very affordable price. Our Bar has cold beer available on tap and in bottles, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks, cocktails, and hot coffee. Ask about our drink specials! James Ballentine VFW Post 246 is a registered 501c19 non-profit organization. All of our proceeds go to Veterans in need, and the community of Minneapolis.
