With over 32 years of civil trial experience primarily defending insureds and self-insured businesses in injury and property damage cases, and representing businesses in many adversarial situations, Mark combines his experience, knowledge and passion to guide his clients to a successful conclusion of their legal problems. Mark has a special interest in products liability and complex tort litigation, with additional significant experience in the transportation, construction, retail and public sectors. He also represents employers and insurers in workers’ compensation matters. Mark is a mediator and arbitrator and enjoys helping others effectively solve their problems. He has written many scholarly articles on these subjects and is a contributing author to a number of practice books, including DRI’s Products Liability Defenses: A State by State Compendium, Minnesota Chapter and MDLA’s Release Deskbook. Mark is active in civil defense bar associations and has been a leader of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, culminating in his election as MDLA President for 2013-14. She proceeded to attend Bethel University for her Bachelor’s Degree and completed her four year degree in two years. Upon graduation, she worked as a legislative assistant at the Minnesota State Senate and served as a committee legislative assistant on the Aging & Long-term Care Committee. Rebecca attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she worked as a certified student attorney at the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office.
