Parasole Restaurant Holdings is the parent company for several restaurants in the Minneapolis area. Its holdings are: Manny s Steakhouse, Chino Latino, Salut Bar Americain, Figlio, Good Earth and Muffuletta. Manny s is a New York-style steakhouse. Chino Latino is an upscale, ethnic restaurant. Salut Bar Americain is a French-oriented concept. Figlio is a contemporary Cal-Italian bistro and bar. Good Earth is a casual restaurant that serves naturally prepared food. Muffuletta is bistro with a flair for global ingredients and flavors. The company also has two spin-offs: Buca di Beppo and Oceanaire Seafood Room. Parasole was established in 1979 with the opening of Muffuletta in St. Paul, Minn. In 2001, Parasole merged with idein, a restaurant and retail consultancy that serves businesses throughout the United States.
