Wow! The unusual menu items offered here are a real treat. Im so pleased that we didnt let the negative reviews deter us from trying this Dutch restaurant. My wife and I had two breakfast items for lunch when we came to St. Paul for the Minnesota State Fair. We decided to share the Dutch Country omelet and the Apple-rhubarb pannekoeken and we were both delighted with the excellent flavors and obvious quality of both of these menu items. We had no hope of finishing the potatoes and omelet dish, even though they were well-prepared and wonderfully seasoned. The Dutch pancake was also a lot of food. We dont know how the Dutch like the dish prepared but we both thought it was wonderful it reminded me of the flavor-enriched crust at the bottom of my favorite pie. The only negative was the whipped cream luckily it was served in a cup on the side and was easy to avoid since neither of us thought it complemented the taste of the pannekoeken. We plan on going back to the place every time we visit the Twin Cities!
