General Info
We see a lot of car accident patients, some medical, cash, and work injury patients. If you have neck and back pain or headaches, call us to make an appointment! Our office accepts auto insurances, cash, checks, and medical insurances such as Medica, UCare MN, HealthPartners, PerferredOne, and MHP. We offer everyone a free consultation. I am Dr. Yer Moua-Lor, the first Hmong female chiropractor. I am currently in my 8th year of practice in my clinic, Moua-Lor Chiropractic and Acupuncture, P.A. located in Minneapolis, MN. I often see patients who have physical injuries such as neck pain, back pain as well as arm and leg pain. I use my hands to adjust the bones, such as the spine, arms, and legs to take away pain. I also apply massage therapy, rehab exercises, and acupuncture to decrease pain of various conditions. Why Chiropractic The benefits of chiropractic go far beyond relieving back and neck pain...it is a pain-free lifestyle. Anybody's spine can misaligns (go out of place) at any time. Chiropractic care can help people of all ages from infants to the elderly. Your First Visit On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed as a member of our family and our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to fill out some forms which will help us gain some information about you and your condition. Do not be shy to ask questions. One of our doctors will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if she/he feels chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If the doctor feels that she/he can help you, she/he will tell you. If the doctor feels she/he cannot help you, she/he will refer you to a doctor that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent. After a thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so she/he may have a better understanding of how she/he will be able to help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures. Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of findings and tell you her/his recommendations for treatment. For patients who have no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.
