The Minneapolis Jewish Federation supports a critical safety net of services and programs to meet the needs of Jews and non-Jews, locally, nationally and in more than 60 countries worldwide. It distributes over $14 million dollars to nearly 50 partner agencies and programs to provide medical assistance, counseling services, meals to homebound seniors, job training, Jewish education, opportunities for children with special needs and emergency housing assistance. The Minneapolis Jewish Federation also engages in a variety of ongoing research and planning to identify and determine community needs. It is a part of the United Jewish Communities, which sustains and enhances the St. Paul area Jewish community. The Minneapolis Jewish Federation is located in Minnetonka, Minn.
