Micron Molding Incorporated, founded in 1960 and located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, provides thermoplastic injection molding services to a wide variety of customers, both locally and nationwide. We specialize in high-quality, close-tolerance engineering grade components for exacting needs. For nearly 50 years, our customers ( in industries ranging from computer and telecom products to lawn and garden products ) have recognized the special niche we've secured through excellence in service and by offering a stable source of contract manufacture. Calendar year 2008 sales of $3.1 million were produced at the company's single, 27, 500 square foot facility, operating twenty-four hours per day on two shifts, Monday through Thursday. Company offices are generally open from 8: 00 A.M. to 5: 00 P.M. during the same business week. Over 2007-2086, Micron Molding processed over one half million pounds of virgin resin into parts for nearly 100 different customers, and recycled and reprocessed an amount equal to nearly one third of this total.
