Founded in 1976, Health Counseling Services is a private health care facility that offers clinical, medical education, nursing consultation and psychotherapy services. It also provides nursing, home health, and short- and long-term health care consulting services. Health Counseling Services offers a range of mental health services that includes social psychotherapy, in-home psychiatric nursing care, and behavioral health diagnosis and assessment. It also provides consultation to health care organizations and medication management and mental health educational services to community members. The facility is approved as the American Heart Association Training Center, which provides training for life support instructors and health counseling professionals. Health Counseling Services is located in Minneapolis.
