This place cooks authentic east African food. The chefs themselves are from Somalia. I love their rice! They serve you with a great broth soup for free while waiting and hot chai tea after your meal. The menu doesn't really do justice the variety they have.... You kinda have to have them explain how their meals work. It's often better for a couple or a group to order a sporte which is a large platter with several different options to share. That's the tradition and it's lots of fun! Note this place isn't really for a vegetarian as traditionally they eat a lot of meat sauces. Prices are great for groups.... You can't find a less expensive way to go. There are several Somali restaurants in the twin cities, I enjoy this one!
