Located in Minneapolis, EFCA, also known as The Evangelical Free Church of America, is an association of nearly 1,300 autonomous churches. Its member churches focus on cooperation in the ministry and fellowship services. The association s ministry extends to more than 45 countries across the world. It has a wide range of affiliated ministries, such as health and care, schools and universities, camps, and senior citizens housing and health care. EFCA recruits and supports chaplains to serve in the military and institutional settings and provides emotional, professional and spiritual care services to them. The association also offers a church insurance program. It provides access to various public resources for individual and church use, such as electronic newsletters, blogs and videos. It receives prayer requests from individuals. EFCA is a member of various organizations, including the National Association of Evangelicals and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
