- Reiki Massage
- Shiatsu MassageReiki is light touch therapy that restores balance to our bodies, much like acupuncture, qigong, shiatsu and yoga. There's no physical manipulation, no substances, no needles. Reiki acts with subtle vibrational energy fields that surround our bodies. The "KI" of Reiki is the same energy as "CHI," but the name and energy system arise from the Japanese healing practices. Reiki calms the impact of stress, lowers blood pressure and heart rate and increases immune strength. How does it work? KI or energy is always in our bodies and when the therapist places or hovers hands just above the body, the movement of KI is triggered. You may feel the energy moving or tingling, you may feel like you're floating, or you may not feel the KI during the session, but the energy is always working even when movement is not noticed right away.
- Chiropractic Adjustments
- SubluxationChiropractors make use of conventional diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab work, as well as specific procedures that involve manipulation by hand of various parts of the body. Chiropractors are best known for their ability to correct misalignments of the spine, which are called subluxations. But spinal manipulation is only a small part of what chiropractors do as part of an overall plan to manage and relieve pain and many kinds of ailments.
- Manipulation TherapyMassage Therapy is a manual therapy that manipulates a person's muscles and tissues. This practice can affect the nervous system to provide relief from stress, muscle tension, muscle pain, stiffness, joint aches and pains, and headache. Massage can help with recovery before and after joint surgery, and increase circulation in the body.
