The primary goal of our emergency radiology services is to provide accurate and timely interpretations of imaging studies to aid in diagnosing, treating, and managing emergency cases such as acute illness, injury, or trauma. These radiologists have expertise in identifying critical findings and assessing the severity of injuries or diseases. - UltrasoundIn addition to performing minimally invasive bone and soft tissue biopsies under ultrasound and CT guidance, MR arthrography is available for patients, achieving the most detailed imaging evaluation of joints possible. Injection of medication into joints, aspiration of cysts or infected fluid collections, and arthrography of prosthetic joints are among the additional interventional procedures performed by our section. Our state-of-the-art multi-channel CT scanners allow three-dimensional reconstructions of any body part, and are routinely requested by surgeons performing complicated orthopedic procedures or joint replacements.
- MRIA radiologist is a physician who has specialized training in obtaining and interpreting medical images, making him or her an imaging expert. Images may be obtained using radiographs, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, PET or MRI. CRL’s board-certified radiologists correlate medical image findings with other examinations and tests, recommend further examinations or treatments, and consult with referring physicians.

- MammographyAs part of our strong commitment to quality care and adherence to regulatory requirements, CRL initiated a cooperative study with our affiliated institutions to coordinate quality assurance data, which exceeds the minimum Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements. Our data is compared to national benchmarks set by the ACR. CRL radiologists consistently exceed the recommended standards.
- Computed TomographyBody Imaging is the subspecialty of radiology devoted to the diagnostic imaging and diagnosis of the chest, gastrointestinal (GI) or digestive tract (the stomach and intestines) reproductive and urinary tract, and abdomen. This includes fluoroscopy, x-rays, CT (computed tomography or CAT), ultrasound, MRI, and procedures such as biopsy, fluid and abscess drainage.
