Dr. Scheuer grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended the University of Virginia as an Echols scholar and subsequently went to medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her residency in Dermatology was completed at the University of Minnesota where she also served as chief resident during her third year. In October of 2013, after practicing for 8 years at a larger Dermatology practice, Dr. Scheuer opened up her own practice, Market Street Dermatology, with Dr. Lynda Kauls. Both Dr. Scheuer and Dr.Kauls are board-certified dermatologists who practice medicine with integrity and compassion. They strive to get back to the ideals of a smaller practice, where the experience is family friendly and patient-focused. At Market Street Dermatology, the phones are answered by real people, not automated messages. Patients with new or concerning skin lesions are able to get in to see the doctor immediately for an evaluation. Cosmetic dermatology is practiced with grace, emphasizing a natural approach to aging.
