Please note: The 1 star review I wrote on October 20th has been rectified. The owner of DJ Auto personally contacted me with a profuse apology for the error in diagnosis. He also refunded my money for the hassle. The mechanic I dealt with at the time of the issue I had with my car is no longer employed at DJ Auto.

I had read that DJ Foreign Auto Care had good reviews around social media and they had a sharp website, so I thought I would be taking my Mini Cooper somewhere with competent mechanics who specialized in foreign autos. Unfortunately, I did not experience the five star service that other customers had bragged about. Don't let the hype of fancy marketing tactics fool you. First, they broke the hood latch and tried to say my daughter who was with me when I dropped the car off had mentioned that the latch was getting harder to open. This was not my daughters car, she has NEVER had a reason to open the hood of this car and I had just the day before bringing the car to DJs, checked the oil and the hood latch worked perfectly. Next, DJs diagnostics came up with a code of an O2 sensor and the high pressure fuel pump, which they replaced just the O2 sensor. The following day the same stalling problem occurred with the car. DJ's said for an extra $600-800 I could bring the car back to replace the fuel pump. I was already charged over $600 to supposedly replace a sensor that did not fix the problem. I almost got creamed by a semi when my car stalled on the freeway after leaving their garage. At that point I felt like they were being comeback artists. Feeling extremely frustrated and desperately needing a reliable vehicle, I then went to another repair shop and had them install a Mini Cooper original equipment high pressure fuel pump, telling them that is what DJ's Auto had diagnosed. The same stalling problem still existed, which tells me that DJ's misdiagnosed the vehicle's issue and neither one of these part replacements were needed. DJ's service was extremely disappointing. They weren't willing to work with me to get this issue resolved. I highly question their diagnostics and competency. A customer should be able to have confidence in a competent mechanic, especially when spending a considerable amount of money for repairs. I would never recommend them to anyone I know in Mini-Cooper Car Clubs or anyone with a foreign vehicle looking for a garage.
