Their prices are way higher than other places. They won't give you a price over the phone and charge you a trip charge of $89 than give an outrages price for the repair....so, basicly free money for Bonfe. There are lots of honest repairers available check around.

Horrible Experience. Had Bonfe's over to fix a furnace that wouldn't stay lit. They replaced a $30.00 part held in place by 2 screws and tried to charge me $460.00! It took less than 5 minutes to replace the part. I told them to take off the part and clean/tune-up the furnace to see if that worked before paying the $460.00. The tech argued with me...told me that he fixed the problem and that a tune up wouldn't help. The tech then phoned the main office and had the price dropped to $300.00. After a firm "NO" they dropped the price again! Finally they removed the part, did the tune-up and the furnace fired up. Bonfe's are crooks! Make sure that you price replacement parts before they are installed and know that they can come way down in price. Beware of Bonfe's.
