Established in 1973, Blaine High School is affiliated with the Anoka-Hennepin Independent School District 11. It enrolls more than 2,560 students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education and music. It also offers various honors and vocational education programs. Its career center provides information about careers, schools and financial aid program for students. Blaine High School also offers various athletic activities, such as softball, soccer, baseball, hockey, basketball, cheerleading and golf. Its media center provides journals, magazines, newspapers and Internet access. It additionally has student organizations that provide various services for students.
