Brevard County Fire Rescue is one of the largest fire rescue services in the state of Florida. The organization employs more than 435 firefighters and support staff and over 250 volunteers. It operates through administration, operations, logistics and training divisions. Its administration division offers communications, finance, fleet maintenance, information systems and staffing services. Brevard County Fire Rescue s operations division provides fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials intervention, and technical and specialized rescue services to the citizens. The division includes firefighters, firemedics and lieutenants.
