Founded in 1858, Dohmen is a family-owned and operated health care service company. It distributes pharmaceutical products, such as medicines, vaccines and flu shots to clients in the health care industry. The company operates RESTAT, which manages prescription benefits for more than 6 million people annually. RESTAT offers prescription card programs for self-funded employers, unions and managed care organizations. Operational since 1985, the company has developed a national provider network that includes over 62,000 pharmacies. Dohmen also maintains a logistics division, Dohmen Distribution Partners, which is also known as DDN.
