My son has been here for two years now and if there were a safer or more secure place for him, he would have been gone a long time ago. Unfortunately Milton has very few secure places to care for your child when you have to work and Kid's Discovery is one of them. Other than the online video stream, the ONLY good thing about this school are a handful of teachers and cafeteria workers that really love children. It is very apparent from the moment a child walks in that the folks at the front desk are extremely cold and superficial. In 2 years, I've had someone say "hello" to me three times at the front desk. The director is very nasty to the children in a fake sort of way--no compassion at all. I was called to pick my nephew up once when he was sick and I found him (4yrs old) in a room by himself crying after he had just thrown up. I am counting the days til my child gets to kindergarten to get him out of here. Sad to day that I am stuck here for lack of better child care.

my son was in the infant room here 8 months ago. i removed him from the center because i didn't feel like he was being taken care of. the last day that he was there, no one knew when he had eaten last, he was lying in his crib screaming and everyone was ignoring him, when i walked over to pick him up he was covered in vomit and was poopy and no one even walked over to see why he was crying. i had multiple problems with this daycare for the 2 months that we used them, this last event was what topped it off.

We had two children at Kids Discovery for almost a year and a half. We were very happy at first. The facility was clean and organized and the kids seemed to enjoy learning new things. As they got older though the classes seemed to get bigger and more chaotic. It finally got to a point where the teachers were changing almost daily and there was no structure or control in the classroom. It was very apparent when we'd pick them up at the end of the day that the kids were running the class and the teachers had just thrown in the towel. There was very little communication with the teachers. We would ask how the kids were doing and would get an "I'm not sure, I'm just filling in" or a simple "I don't know". I think this is a fine day care for infants and after schoolers, but not the place for younger children preparing for school. The structure and the discipline that the need to learn before starting school is no where to be found .

My child was in the nursery. We constantly had problems with his feeding schedule and lack of communication between staff members. At the end of the day when I would ask how did he do today, the young girls would say "I guess ok". Love the security and online video camera, but I really didn't feel like my child was getting his needs met.
