"Grotto" may mean cave in Italy, but in Delaware, it means pizza, Grotto Pizza. Grotto Pizza was founded in Rehoboth Beach, Del., in 1960 by 17-year-old Dominick Pulieri, along with his brother-in-law, Joe Paglianite, and sister, Mary Jean. The company s menu is comprised of traditional and specialty pizza, such as the Baker s Choice, the Bianco, the Grotto Garden, the Grande and the Chicken BBQ. Additional menu items include cheese sticks, chicken wings and tenders, onion rings, breadsticks, salads, stromboli, pasta, subs and desserts. Grotto Pizza is a privately owned company that has a location in Millsboro, Del.

Grotto Pizza is what it is...it's certainly not worth five stars, but it's a fun place to play trivia or watch a ball game. The food is overpriced and the quality isn't the greatest....but we still go there.
