David Eakin, DO earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed his residency and served as chief orthopedic resident. Dr. Eakin is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His professional interests include sports medicine and adult reconstruction, where he was the first orthopedic surgeon to perform the MAKO robotic-assisted total knee replacement on the Delmarva Peninsula in 2018.
