I purchased a Jotul Rockland fireplace insert, granite surround, and mantle from these guys. They did the complete installation. The unit has issues of spilling smoke into the house during reloads, but otherwise performs well. I have contacted them several times and only received lip service. So far they have not even come out to see it in operation. I know a few people with other brands of inserts and they do not have a similar problem. So far they've done a lot of talking but have taken no action to resolve my problem. I purchased the Jotul based upon their recommendation and their rep came to my house twice prior to installation. I would not recommend this company or the Jotul product.

I went to Marlborough CT Superior Hearth and Spa to purchase a Jotul gas logs freestanding fireplace and install. I spent over 3500.00 that day, paid in full for stove, hook up installation and piping. They said it would take a few weeks. We had also ordered and paid for at the same time the light kit, blower and remote. They came to install stove and pretty much hacked it into my house and didn't paint the pipe ,the alignment of the pipe to the wall outlet is terrible. They were hear about 1 hour and gone. The outside where it goes to the vinyl siding looks terrible. They never mentioned anything about painting the pipe or all the added features until I asked and they said they were back ordered and would have to come back to finish. They have not called us for weeks, I had kept calling till they came out while the babysitter was here to install added features. They never painted pipe or put a trim piece on wall piece. Still another week went by and haven't heard when they will be fin
