FABULOUS food! Forget the no flavor mega bars. Down home southern style cooking!Be sure to try the southern fried chicken - the colonel couldn't do any better! And if you are lucky enough to be there on a day when Renate makes banana pudding you better grab some fast! Good enough to make you swallow your tongue! Also, don't forget Friday night is German buffet. Authentic German cuisine! Good rib sticking, hearty food. Pork schnitzel, red cabbage and apples, sour kraut and bratwurst, pretzels, spatzel, and apple strudel are all common items on Friday night. Other favorites include beef rouladen, pork rollbrauten, and schwankbrat. The owner and chef, Renate is a fabulous cook and a pleasure to chat with.My other half and I have been going there for nearly 10 years now!
